The 142-bed full-service hospital is located in Washington and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center. It is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year, as well as the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center – a provider of leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services. ECU Health Beaufort also offers general medical and surgical services, operative services, a women’s birthing center, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics.

Position Summary

Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Participates in the assessment of patients.
Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care.
Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development. Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice. Participates in Service Excellence Program.

Minimum Requirements

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
LPN Diploma
Active NC LPN License or compact state

This position is full-time - Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm
No nights, weekends or call
