Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of clinic procedures typically gained through education or on-the-job training
  • Basic knowledge of electronic medical records 

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • One of the following:
    • Current Alabama LPN license
    • Current Multi State LPN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

  • *Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

  •  
  • BLS

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent 

 

 

Responsibilities

Promotes quality and continuity of care by performing patient assessment and education, providing physician assistance, assisting in the coordination of procedures and providing effective communication to achieve IHS's standards of quality, efficiency and desired outcomes.
