Position Summary

Nightingale at Crossett is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for our 7pm–7am shift. The ideal candidate is passionate about resident care, thrives in a teamoriented environment, and brings prior healthcare experience to support highquality clinical outcomes. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering handson nursing care, supporting residents’ wellbeing, and contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

  • Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly, and document all care provided.

  • Assist with assessments, wound care, and other clinical tasks as directed by the RN or DON.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, personcentered care.

  • Support a positive team environment built on communication, respect, and shared goals.

  • Provide guidance and support to CNAs during the shift.

Resident Support & Customer Service

  • Build trusting, caring relationships with residents and families.

  • Respond to resident needs with compassion, patience, and professionalism.

  • Promote a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for all residents.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.

  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Support survey readiness and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Arkansas.

  • Previous healthcare experience required (skilled nursing or longterm care preferred).

  • Strong clinical skills with a commitment to highquality resident care.

  • Compassionate, dependable, and able to work effectively within a team.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
