Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

You will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery
You will organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered and holistic
You will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
You will participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement
You will incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

What qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
(RN) Registered Nurse
Associate Degree; BSN required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
Must have 1 year recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
CCRN Preferred
