Responsibilities

  • The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
  • Performs general nursing tasks.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Graduate from a practical nursing program
  • Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license (within 90 days of hire)
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • CPR

Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • One (1) year of experience desired
