Aspire Senior Living of Poplar Bluff is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse for a Full-Time Director of Nursing (DON) role to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the RN Director of Nursing (DON) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring high-quality care and services to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the nursing department, including staff scheduling, orientation, and development

  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care and services

  • Conduct regular rounds and assessments to ensure high-quality care and identify areas for improvement

  • Develop and manage budgets and expense reports for the nursing department

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for growth and development

  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a welcoming and inclusive environment

Requirements:

  • Experienced as a Director of Nursing (DON) or in a similar leadership role

  • Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Missouri

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
