Schedules Available: 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, and 11:00pm-7:00am including every other weekend (weekend and shift differential offered)

Position Overview for Certified Med Tech:
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Certified Med Techs to assist our residents with their daily living activities while ensuring their medical needs are met. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a heart for service, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities as a Certified Med Tech:

  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents according to their service plans and monitor for any side effects.

  • Personal Care Support: Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, promoting their dignity and independence.

  • Documentation: Accurately document residents' health statuses and any changes, adhering to community standards and regulations.

  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional and social support to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and community standards to ensure the well-being of residents.

Desired Characteristics as a Certified Med Tech:

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in healthcare or a related field preferred.

  • Assisted living experience preferred.

  • Certification as a Med Tech required.

  • PCC (Point Click Care) experience preferred.

Follows established quality control procedures, analyzes control data, and resolves out-of-range results to maintain testing reliability. Assists with data collection, audits, and preparation for regulatory surveys (e.g., CAP, Joint Commission, CLIA), and meets with surveyors as needed.
