Registered Nurse

Veterans Engineering is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in various settings. Your expertise and commitment to patient-centered care will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments Develop, update, and implement patient/resident care plans
Administer medications (oral, IV, blood products) using BCMA with 100% accuracy
Initiate and manage peripheral, central, and PICC lines
Provide ventilator care, tracheostomy care, and suctioning (oral, NG, trach, deep suction)
Perform wound care (sterile and non-sterile) and obtain cultures
Conduct pain assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, pulse oximetry, and vital signs
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Perform fall risk assessments, Braden Scale assessments, and skin integrity evaluations
Respond to emergencies and participate in resuscitative efforts
Provide end-of-life supportive care to patients and families

Active RN license in the state of practice
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are a plus

Travel Requirement

Travel to client locations may be required based on project needs.
