Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

With a Pay Range of $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, you could make:

  • Full-time (30-40 hours/week) = $28,000 to $52,000 annually
  • Part-time (10-20 hours/week) = $9,500 to $24,000 annually

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Certified Nursing Assistant with experience in their role to join our team covering the Parker area! In this role, you will work 1:1 with each client in the home setting to assist clients in basic activities of daily living.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the supervising nurse
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation

Work as Student Nurse or Certified Nurse’s Assistant under the direction of the Paha Nurse and the Paha Director. Assist Nurse in making physical checks of Paha campers and participants the first week of Paha for any health concerns. Example - bruises, cuts, pressure sores, infections, skin and scalp diseases or rashes. Assist with all medicines or first aid articles brought to Camp Paha or the PAT program by the campers, participants and staff, administering all medications and treatments according to prescribed physician’s orders and sound nursing knowledge and assessment. When needed, provide campers/participants/staff with first aid after appropriate nursing assessment. Support the retention of accurate records of all medications, treatments, injuries, etc., of all campers. Discuss important health items about campers/participants with their individual counselors/group staff as needed. Prepare, maintain, and instruct counselors/staff in the use of first aid kits for emergency use on hikes and other off site trips. Nurses in the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders play a vital role on the multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive and collaborative care to this patient population. The ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders is a 30-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. CNAs and behavioral healthcare techs provide 1:1 care and supervision for every patient. This unique population requires both medical and behavioral interventions.
