CNA School Contract

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized care to a young pre-kindergarten student in a school setting. The position requires a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) licensed professional who is skilled in supporting students with medical needs, including seizure monitoring, while ensuring their safety during bus transportation to and from school.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current CNA license
  • CPR certification
  • Experience in pediatric healthcare or school nursing preferred
  • Ability to monitor and manage seizure disorders
  • Strong communication and observational skills

Location:

  • Johnston, Rhode Island

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing assistance and medical support to one pre-kindergarten student
  • Monitor the students health and well-being throughout the school day, with special attention to seizure activity
  • Accompany and supervise the student during bus transportation to ensure safety
  • Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to support individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate health records and communicate any concerns promptly

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Approximately 7:45 AM to 11:15 AM
