Job Duties:
The Quality Manager collaborates in the delivery of quality safe patient care by auditing, collection and submission of clinical data. Abstracts and submits data internally and to external regulatory agencies, performance improvement organizations and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) as required. Supports CMS accreditation preparation and continuous readiness. Participate in the performance improvement process. Understands and demonstrates knowledge of tools and concepts of performance improvement such as FOCUS-PDSA and lean. Strives for efficiency and communicates quality and process improvement principles to others within the organization.
Qualifications:
Nursing Associate Degree or Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Health care license preferred. Certification or willingness to pursue certification from a National Association (CPHQ, etc.) is preferred. Previous experience with Electronic Medical Record, EPIC experience preferred. Obtain six sigma green belt certification within 2 years of hire. 2-3 years experience in health care.
Shift Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, no weekends or holiday requirements
