Does this position require Patient Care? Essential Functions-Supervises nursing leaders and staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and assigning duties to meet patient care needs.
-Monitors and evaluates nursing practices, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
-Provides leadership during clinical emergencies, making critical decisions to ensure patient safety and quality care.
-Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
-Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and facilitates professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
-Leads quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
-Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
-Addresses and resolves any patient or staff concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
-Participates in hospital leadership meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications
Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred or Master's Degree Nursing preferred or Master's Degree Healthcare Administration preferred

Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - American Heart Association (AHA) preferred Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
Experience
Nursing experience 3-5 years required and Experience in a leadership or supervisory role 3-5 years required
