RN Division Director of Clinical Operations-Private Duty

$120,000 - $160,000 / year
BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse Executive to fill the role of Division Director of Clinical Operations in our Assistive Care (AC) and Assistive Care State Programs (ACSP) practices. This position requires an RN with senior level experience in clinical program development, care service delivery, and outcomes focused clinical excellence. Prior home care experience with home health aide/personal care services for senior clients is strongly preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Working closely and collaboratively with the Practice President, Regional Directors, and other clinical and operational leaders within the Assistive Care (AC) and Assistive Care State programs (ACSP) practices to oversee clinical leadership in the AC/ACSP practices. Will assist in defining standards and drive execution of high-quality care in accordance with the mission of BAYADA Home Health Care and standards of regulatory and accrediting organizations. Will interface with the Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer and Clinical Standards and Leadership office (CSL) clinical leaders, to define clinical processes and provide effective clinical strategies to promote exceptional outcomes and continued growth.

This position will require regular, on-going travel (approximately 40%.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with current RN licensure. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ten (10) + years’ experience in Home Care and/or Home Health with knowledge of Operational and Clinical Support Leadership roles.
  • Strong background in home care and personal care services delivery, with a deep understanding of senior healthcare needs.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team of clinicians.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leadership and understand the unique challenges of home health aides in the community.
  • Familiarity with state regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Passion for technology and innovation in healthcare, with experience in EMR systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and quality of care.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
  • Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
  • Promote the growth of BAYADA AC/ACSP offices as a specialty within the organization by leading and supporting the practices to achieve and maintain best-in-class standards of clinical and service excellence.
  • Identify and/or respond to opportunities for expansion of AC/ACSP clinical programs based on client need and industry demand.
  • Work closely with Area Director for ACSP, providing mentoring and support and providing guidance towards continual development.
  • Work closely and collaborates through a highly effective team approach and maintain best in class standards of clinical performance. Teams include clinical and operational leaders, as appropriate.
  • Evaluate operational performance to determine if clinical objectives and tactics are achieving desired outcomes; adapts plan as needed to achieve desired results.
  • Lead/support the development of new clinical programs and procedures that are integral to achieving strategic objectives; partner with other members of practice/enterprise support, as needed. Monitor outcomes and revise plans as needed to ensure continued success.
  • Oversee and participate in clinical consultation and clinical leadership to AC/ACSP service and support offices.
  • Lead the team of AC/ACSP clinical leaders who mentor through supporting, training and promoting professional development and retention of AC/ACSP Clinical Managers (CMs).
  • In collaboration with clinical leaders, identify learning needs and participate in the design of enhanced education for AC/ACSP CMs and home health aides.
  • Direct and support the review, update and develop AC/ACSP clinical policies and best practices as required by accreditation standards, and payor requirements and adhere to BAYADA’s governance process. Ensure that all policies and practices are communicated and implemented in AC/ACSP service offices.
  • Assist and support the design of innovative solutions to recruit, onboard and retain qualified AC/ACSP clinical leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Practice President, Regional Directors and Division Directors to facilitate successor planning of clinical leaders within the AC/ACSP practices.
  • Represent BAYADA AC/ACSP Practices internally and externally to educate and promote advocacy for AC/ACSP services.
  • Oversee and participate in the development, communication, implementation, and management of clinical practice initiatives in conjunction with service, support and business stakeholders. Lead and support the implementation of projects and tasks to drive quality for all AC/ACSP service offices, including but not limited to education and training programs.
  • Collaborate with other practices on clinical initiatives.
  • Maintain productive relationships with AC/ACSP service office teams and support offices.
  • Collaborate on and evaluate metrics specific to AC/ACSP practice. Recommend/implement training for CMs and field staff to improve quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
  • Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor
