Participates in quality monitoring through the review of records and treatment plans for patient outcomes to assure quality care. 10. Promotes translation of evidence-based practices, guidelines, and research. 11. May serve as clinical preceptor for students or other Advanced Practice Providers. 12. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the patient and possesses the ability to identify each patient’s age- specific needs. 17. Performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, as well as psychiatric and other relevant health histories. 18. Prescribes psychotropic medications and short-term therapies to treat mental health conditions in accordance with standardized procedures. 19. Provides brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services in accordance with standardized procedures. 20. Participates in quality improvement activities; assists in maintaining compliance with The Joint Commission, State Agencies and other internal and external regulatory standards. 21. Supports and upholds established organizational policies, procedures, and objectives related to quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control. 22.
