Lillis School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor whose teaching and scholarship is focused on Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Reporting to the pathway/program chair, this role involves curriculum development, clinical/lab/simulation instruction, scholarly engagement, and service to the school and community. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in nursing education and student success, with a focus on preparing practice-ready graduates. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Prepares and delivers didactic, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction, setting high and challenging academic standards, to students utilizing a variety of delivery formats (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid, etc.) Uses various learning assessments to evaluate student mastery of course and program outcomes. Provides feedback on student's progress, in a timely manner, to facilitate academic success. Prepares and submits required documentation including course syllabi, student attendance, final course grades and other information as requested or required by the school. Maintains professional development/growth according to personal needs and requirements for licensure and certification. Participates in school and college committees and task forces as assigned; may be assigned duties including faculty advisor to a student club or organization; and/or mentoring other faculty. Performs other job-related duties and projects as assigned in support of the school's mission, core values and goals.
