As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Supervisor (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Pleasanton, CA. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. What You’ll Do Collaborates with Site Medical Leader to provide leadership to health center staff Assists in the recruitment and selection of staff members, including interviewing candidates and training new staff members Assesses, manages, and evaluates the performance and development of staff members Manages and monitors clinic staff schedules Oversees the nursing care of all patients Provides direct patient care < 30% of the time. Identifies emergency situations, and provides care within legal scope of practice Participates in appropriate client and Premise Health committees as requested Directs preparation and maintenance of patients' clinical records Provides direction to ensure environment is clean and safe, that infection control procedures are followed, and patient privacy is upheld Oversees ordering and maintenance of supplies, drugs, solutions, and equipment, and maintains records on narcotics, if applicable Participates in Quality Improvement, Risk Management activities and completes Premise Health occurrence reports as needed. As a PRN Registered Nurse, Infusion, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Sunnyvale, CA. The clinic hours are Monday- Friday, 8a- 6:30pm. Schedule can be discussed in interview as its flexible based on candidate and clinic needs. What You'll Do Provides infusion nursing care to client employees and/or contractors and visitors to the health center. What You'll Bring Uses training and experience as an infusion nurse to administer medications by IV infusion in the outpatient setting. Initiating and maintaining intravenous lines and tubing, administering medication and fluid therapy. Ensure that patients receiving intravenous (IV) therapy receive care that is appropriate for the therapy ordered, from choosing an appropriate infusion device to the management of that device to monitoring and evaluating the patient’s response to the IV therapy. Uses nursing skills to evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment, and maintain patient flow. Conducts a nursing assessment by taking a patient history and physical assessment and by obtaining vital signs and other medical tests. Provides treatment within scope of practice as defined by state law. Collaborates with Physician or other Licensed Independent Practitioner to arrange for further medical treatment, when needed. Identifies equipment that needs repair and brings it to the attention of the lead clinician. Conducts appropriate laboratory tests and quality control procedures. Documents accurately all elements of nursing assessment, treatments, medications administered, discharge instructions provided, and follow up care arranged. Evaluates health education/promotion needs of patients and provides necessary training and instruction. Identifies emergency situations and provides care within legal scope of practice. Administers medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician or Licensed Independent Practitioner. Current hands-on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required. Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field. 2 – 3 years’ management experience. Prior management experience managing a large group a must. Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.
