We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urogynecology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our women’s health team. This role provides comprehensive care for patients with pelvic floor disorders while working closely with urogynecology physicians. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the NP will support physician call coverage and manage clinical inbox coverage to ensure continuity of care and timely patient communication.

 

Compensation Pay Range:

$107,000.00 - $224,123.00

 

Clinical Care

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urogynecologic conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic pain, bladder pain syndrome/interstitial cystitis and recurrent urinary tract infections
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic studies
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including behavioral therapy, medication management, pessary fitting and management, and pre- and post-operative care
  • Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
  • Perform or assist with in-office procedures as appropriate (e.g., pessary care, post-operative evaluations)

Call & Inbox Coverage

Participate in call coverage in collaboration with supervising physician(s), including triage of patient concerns, postoperative issues, and urgent clinical questions within defined protocols

  • Provide clinical inbox coverage for assigned physician(s), including responding to patient messages, reviewing lab and imaging results, medication refills, and coordinating follow-up care
  • Escalate complex or urgent issues appropriately to the supervising physician
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation of all call and inbox encounters in the electronic medical record

Collaboration & Administrative Duties

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, pelvic floor physical therapists, and other care team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in initiatives and clinical research that encourages the sharing of best practices, incorporates data feedback for objective analysis and promotes collaborative improvements
  •  Maintains awareness of new medical and surgical developments in the areas of urogynecological care of patients through continuing medical education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior urogynecology or pelvic floor disorder experience
  • Experience with pessary fitting and management
  • Familiarity with postoperative care and triage
  • Experience managing high-volume clinical inboxes
  • Bilingual skills a plus but not required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education -

This position is a licensed independent practitioner credentialed through the Medical Staff Services Office

  • Completion of Advanced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program from an accredited institution.
  • All licensure re-certifications, as required.

Minimum Work Experience

2 years of Acute Medicine experience, preferred.

    Position Summary Seeking an APRN for a flexible outpatient role supporting services through extended service rotations, providing several consecutive months on each team to promote deeper clinical immersion and continuity of care. Serve as a primary clinical provider for infants, children, and adolescents in these outpatient clinics: Gastroenterology, Allergy, Pulmonary, Infectious Disease, and primary care.
