Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Short Pump Multispecialty Clinic - Days

The Multispecialty Clinic at Short Pump Pavilion is home to a variety of specialties including Interventional Pain Management, Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Rheumatology, Weight Loss, Bariatrics, Plastic Surgery, Surgery Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, Acute Care/Trauma and Wound Care. Our patients require care for a range of pain and mobility issues and some require medical and surgical management. We’re a team of 20 consisting of RNs, LPNs and CMAs and we collaborate with our physicians and patient access teams to meet the needs of our patients. Our clinic is open Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm with some flexibility. No nights, weekends, or holidays are required. Enjoy free parking onsite!

The LPN job commences to integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. This role assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. This role also provides direction, education, and begins to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.

The LPN job delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care. This role safely administers prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions."

The staff provide a wide span of patient education on proper wound care, edema control, proper use of splints/braces, and cast care. Staff may perform suture & staple removal during office visits.
