JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Assists practitioner in assigned Urgent Care and/or specialty clinic(s) in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.

SamCare Express offers, by appointment, same-day treatment of health problems such as: cold, cough and fever, sore throat and strep throat, bronchitis, sinus infection, bladder and urinary tract infection, pink eye, earache and ear infection, flu vaccination, skin irritation or rash without fever, sports physicals, and other minor illnesses and injuries. Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
Healthcare Provider Level BLS required upon hire.
Six (6) months related experience required.
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.
Lab/EKG experience preferred.
