Job Summary The Paramedic – Emergency Department provides high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, the Paramedic delivers technical and clinical support in a fast-paced emergency setting. Administers medications safely and accurately under established protocols, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to the five rights of medication administration. Documents all care and observations accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner. Prepares patients for procedures and diagnostic imaging, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding of interventions. Maintains, cleans, and stocks supplies and emergency department equipment, reporting any malfunctions or shortages.
