Pediatric Unit - Staff Registered Nurse Full Time Nights

Job Summary : To provide nursing care that is patient and family centered in an environment that exemplifies best practice and customer service; fosters relationship based care; and maintains the integrity of professional nursing standards. Nursing care guidelines are based on the ANA Code of Ethics (1), Indiana Nurse Practice Act (2), Nursing Process, and regulatory agency standards by which the RN provides patient care and shared leadership for the unit. The Pediatric Unit provides inpatient care to both pediatric patients (0-17) and adult patients (Women's Health and Surgical). We welcome nurses with both pediatric and adult medical/surgical experience. Pediatric experience is preferred. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking for general pediatrics and women's health experience. Indiana Blood & Marrow Transplantation (IBMT) program is one of only two FACT accredited programs in the State of Indiana performing over 100 transplants a year. The program offers both Allogeneic & Autologous transplants as well as cellular therapy for hematological malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma as well as autoimmune disorders. IBMT is a National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) collection center for Bone Marrow & Peripheral Blood Stem Cells. There is a Stem Cell processing laboratory on site. The program has both inpatient and outpatient services. Immune Effector Cell Therapies and Clinical Research are also part of the program. WHAT WE NEED: Bone Marrow Transplant, Hematology and/or Oncology experience preferred, but not required. Ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment and be team oriented.
