Our patients undergo the most progressive surgical and catheterization interventions. Our nursing staff practice in close partnership with the cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and fellows providing individual support and education to families and patients throughout their intensive care unit admission. PCTU will be expanding by 9 beds in the spring of 2027 Required Qualifications* Current Michigan Registered Nurse License. 12-24 months of current pediatric acute care RN experience PALS certification is required (or within six (6) months of date of hire) or MUST be completed prior to end of probationary period . Responsibilities* Responsibilities Of The Adult Critical Care Cluster To provide safe and effective nursing care as assigned to patients in each of the 7 Adult Intensive Care Units. This includes caring for patients in the Trauma Burn, Neuro-Surgical, Cardiovascular Surgery, Surgical, Medical, and Cardiac Intensive care unit, and Intermediate care units. This will include caring for patients with multiple types of illnesses and disease processes that require both physiologic monitoring and intensive nursing care.
