Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for ambulatory surgical and pain management patients, from simple to complex, with multi-system issues in a safe and therapeutic environment. Education Associates Degree (A.D.)or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), from an accredited School of Nursing. Certification, Registration & Licensure Certification required to obtain: BCLS and ACLS certification within 3 months of hire Licensure required: Current New Hampshire State Registered Nurse license. Experience Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team. Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team. Bases nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make sound clinical judgment/decisions. Participates and engages in center activities. Documents care provided and patient's progress toward attainment of desired outcomes. Directs and supervises others (nursing students, orientees, surgical technologists) in the performance of delegated nursing activities. Leads the health care team. Performs other duties as assigned. Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.
