About the Facility Corewell Health Commons – Farmington Hills Our facility has 3 floors and 9 unit (3 units per floor), we are able to provide care for long term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. The first floor has 59 beds with a focus on sub-acute rehab, the second floor has 59 beds which focuses on long-term care and sub-acute rehab and our third floor is a secured dementia unit. About the unit We are a 64 bed Inpatient Rehab Unit that sees a variety of patients who need to work on both their functional and medical problems. We treat ortho patients recovering from hip fractures, complex knee replacement, back surgery with neurologic involvement, multi-trauma, and other orthopedic issues. We also see neurology patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord tumors, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Parkinson’s, MS, and any cancer diagnosis with functional decline.
