Conduct and document system assessments at the beginning of each shift. Assess and respond to diagnostic data, patient education needs, and psychosocial requirements. Prioritize and adapt care plans based on patient needs and outcomes. Initiate, document, and implement interventions in emergencies and routine care. Administer medications, observe effectiveness, and report adverse reactions. Provide individualized education to patients and families about the plan of care each shift. Operate and maintain unit-specific equipment, including aseptic techniques for dressing changes and catheter insertions. Address daily hygiene needs, pre/post-operative care, and feeding via NG/gastrostomy/jejunostomy tubes.
