Provide urgent and non-urgent care for all patients. Obtain a health history from the patient and records findings. Perform special screening and diagnostic tests, request laboratory tests and radiographic studies and uses the results in assessing the patient's medical problems. Administer professional services, including but not limited to catheterization, tube feeding, suction, wound care, specimen collection, and other medical procedures as outlined by the facility's policies and procedures. Supervision: Collaborate with the facility's consultants as required and implement recommended changes under the guidance of the Director of Nursing (DON). Investigate and address complaints and grievances, providing necessary oral and written reports to the DON. Exchange nursing reports at the beginning and end of your shift duty hours. Conduct daily checks on all residents to ensure that prescribed treatments are administered correctly by nursing personnel/assistants and to assess their physical and emotional well-being.
