Adhere to required department and system protocols, HIPPA regulations, local, state, federal requirements Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must meet one of the following: Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification HHA with a lapse of more than two years of employment(must complete written exam and 1-day HHA Skills Competency Class within 30 days of hire) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) willing to complete a written exam and 1-day HHA Skills Competency Class within 30 days of hire Out-of-state HHA or Nurse Aide training with documented competency evaluation Nursing student (Fundamentals of Nursing completed within the past 24 months) U.S. Military-trained medic or medical technician Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1 year experience working with the frail elderly population Compassionate, patient focused and dependable professional Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional documentation and communication skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
