JOB: LPN Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehab is actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), for the night shift, 11pm-7am, part-time for our Skilled Nursing Facility in the New Haven area of CT. DUTIES: Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as needed Record health details of residents; including vitals & temperature Carry out direct care to residents based on the care plan in accordance with the residents needs, nursing procedures, facility policy, and nursing standards of practice Administering medications and treatments to residents as needed Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants Perform assigned duties including wound care, treatments, and procedures Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to resident Maintain confidentiality and rights of residents, family members, employees, and facility information in compliance with HIPAA policies REQUIREMENTS: Valid CT State LPN license Excellent leadership and communication skills Long term care experience preferred BENEFITS: Competitive pay rate and benefits $750 sign on bonus after 90 days for full-time $375 sign on bonus after 90 days for part-time Weekly pay Direct Deposit Great working environment ABOUT US: Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehab is a 226-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility situated in New Haven, Connecticut. Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills. Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilizes appropriately. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care. Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
