Ensure readiness for audits, surveys, and compliance reviews. Team Development & Support: Guide, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth. Communication with Leadership: Maintain regular communication with the Governing Body, providing insights, updates, and recommendations aligned with organizational goals. Regulatory Awareness: Stay current with state and federal hospice regulations and ensure best practices are consistently applied across clinical and operational functions. Collaboration: Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to ongoing operational improvements and upholding our commitment to quality, integrity, and compassionate care. Regularly re-evaluates patient nursing needs. Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis. Provides health care instructions to the patient as appropriate per assessment and plan of care. Visit clients routinely in order to observe and evaluate each clients’ physical and emotional status. Maintain the confidentiality of all client care information. Monitor nursing care to ensure that all clients are treated fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect.
