Ensure readiness for audits, surveys, and compliance reviews. Team Development & Support: Guide, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth. Communication with Leadership: Maintain regular communication with the Governing Body, providing insights, updates, and recommendations aligned with organizational goals. Regulatory Awareness: Stay current with state and federal hospice regulations and ensure best practices are consistently applied across clinical and operational functions. Collaboration: Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to ongoing operational improvements and upholding our commitment to quality, integrity, and compassionate care. Regularly re-evaluates patient nursing needs. Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis.
