The ambulatory-based vascular surgery APP will provide support to and streamline components of the outpatient vascular surgery practice at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. They will provide direct care to patients and expand access by seeing new, return, and post-operative patients. They will perform outpatient wound care including wound debridement. The APP will directly support the vascular surgeons and may provide procedural support in the Vein Clinic. They will coordinate care for the vascular patients as well as provide education and support to patients and families. The vascular surgery APP may mentor graduate students in aspects of advanced practice and participate in various research/quality projects and committees.
