Job Description Under the general supervision of the Preoperative Anesthesia Clinic Medical Director, Pain Clinic Medical Director, and Chief of Anesthesia, and in accordance with standardized procedures, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) role will work clinically in the Preoperative Anesthesia Clinic (PAC). The Preoperative Anesthesia Clinic is an ambulatory clinic responsible for the preoperative assessment and optimization of patients undergoing surgery. The clinic offers telemedicine and in-person consultations. The NP role provides clinical and operational support to the Preoperative Anesthesia Clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
