Job Summary: Summary Renders nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff, RNs and LPNs, and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Assists with performing in the Hospital Unit Coordinator role as necessary to meet the needs of the unit. Prepares equipment and assists other nursing staff during treatments and examination of patients. Uses equipment/safety protocols and policies in providing care and transport to patients. Demonstrates understanding of the fall prevention measures for all patients assessed by the RN as high fall risk. Communicates with the RN and provides report to on coming LNA any concerns.
