As a Full-Time Clinical Operations Manager , you will lead the day-to-day clinical and operational functions of our on-site Health Center in Groton, CT , serving client employees and their dependents ages 2 and older. This role requires a strong clinical operations leader with proven experience managing workflows, driving quality outcomes, supporting provider performance, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in healthcare operations, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and process improvement, along with the ability to balance hands-on clinical oversight with strategic operational management. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. What You'll Do Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance. Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff). Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed. Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration. Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis. Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations. Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives. Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions. Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the medical field. 5+ years’ management experience. Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing etc.). Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills. Excellent Communication skills. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Training skills preferred. Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred. We are seeking a strong nurse leader with proven clinical operations experience who can drive workflow efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, support provider performance, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services. Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites. Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical field. 5+ years of management experience. Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.
