Responsibilities The Cath Lab Charge Nurse, under the direction the director, is responsible for scheduling employees and coordinating patient flow and room turnover, overseeing supply and equipment management, coordinating training and orientation of new personnel, assisting in staff development, monitoring the departmental environment to ensure safe patient care and to evaluate and discipline employees and/or make effective recommendations regarding the same. Assist Directors in the completion of performance evaluations. Responsible for environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Will be required to be a Merge Super User and to assist team members and physicians. Expected to manage productivity staffing levels and make adjustments according to volume. Responsible for collecting data for Co-Management dashboards. Weekly Nurse Leader rounding in order to meet patient satisfaction. This is a Full Time Day Shift position.
